The PMS has hit in FULL effect... I got weepy on behalf of the busker in the BART station playing his sweet violin/fiddle today, because our iPod generation would rather listen to TuPac clanging in their ears than heartfelt creative music offered for small change in the BART station... what!? pass the midol please....

The small corner flower stand was closed this morning... I laughed out loud to consider the two following possibilites:

a) Valentines day plum cleared them out and there's not a flower to be sold...
b) they ripped off people so well that they can afford to be closed for a whole Friday - the day most people buy flowers to take home for the weekend?

C'mon... I mean, yes, music has often been used to make political statements - I mean, folk music- people...sure. However, when the music industry makes a statment of support for a group's political beliefs by awarding them with the highest honor for their album - THAT is wrong. Let's not get those things confused....

Especially when the music pretty much sucks compared to the other nominees.
