The Good Old Days

My missed connection is with Valley Fair Mall the way it was at the time I spent my days there post H.S. I recently went there and was so sad!!! It's ALL CHANGED! Very nice - and super high-end, but gone are the days of the 25-cent coffee at the Nordstrom Cafe with my mod friends, and the ESPRIT store. Oh! and Contempo Casuals.

Does anyone remember that smoothie shop when the food court was on the top level? They had the best strawberry coconut smoothies - this was before anyone had ever heard of Jamba juice... what was it called?

I also used to love going to get lunch at La Salsa - before it was a huge chain.

Now I understand why my dad used to lament 'the good old days'. As a kid I always thought he was silly because everything was so big and cool and great now! Who needed the 'Good old Days'??? Little did I know how it would feel when things I cherished started disappearing from the real world. Thanks for letting me keep these current in my memory - so that the connection really will never be missed.
